I'm surprisingly similar to BurntOrngeLonghorn. I'm a third year mechanical engineering student at Itasca in Minnesota....transfering out to Michigan Tech next year. I've done lots of jobs over he summers but my favorite was being an HVAC installer....right up until I was laid off (damn temperate weather). Anyway...I've been a bank teller and proof operator since I was 15 as well.

i make diamond cutter bits that they use on the oil rigs out in the ocean, and we also use them for asphalt machines that tear up the roads. pretty easy work, i sit and run a cnc controlled press all day. and i guess it pays the bills!

Restaurant manager for 12 years. Carinos Italian Grill most recently. That just pays the bills though. I went to UT for Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. I get my thrills building vehicles and stereo systems. Probably going to be getting a welding certification in about a year and getting out of the food service industry! Guests are ruthless!!
