I am going to have to say that is deviously clever. I haven't actually thought of doing something like that, but I may have to give it a shot. Does the lack of cat give the ol' 4-cylinder much more power? It gives it a little extra boost. Nothing excitingly up roaring...'bout the same as a hallowed out cat just much easier to deal with. And also keep you from having to buy a new cat ever three to five years or so.

i'm not that good with exaust so i am having a freind do mine, he asked if i want to go dual exhaust? Also what flowmaster should fit a 2 1/2" exaust system with a deep sounding rumble. What headers will give me the most go, downey?

Now I feel like it might be time for something to be done with mine... I have the factory cat on my truck still, 168K and still factory, I guess thats not the best thing. But hey, if it passes inspection, I'm not complaining.
