Just a cool though, between, My father, grandfather, and I, we have owned 6 Toyota 4x4 trucks in the last 23 years with 0 engine repairs. Added up thats 665,000 miles of driving with no problems. A few clutches and batteries thats about it. I dont think Ill be purchasing anything else in the future, except Yota's.

I started out driving a toyota celica for my first car. Since then I've had two supras, one 4runner, and my current truck. I remember buying our first family 4runner in the early 90's. I kept egging my dad to get a 4x4 runner but he opted for the 2wd model. Was a good vehicle anyway..got traded on a new 4runner.

;D I'm 34yo, have owned 36 vehicles(that i remember ) & can say w/o a doubt, Toyota puts out the best product out there. I traded my '83 p/u for a Z28 b/c the summer bug hit. Worst move I ever made. There'll always be a 'Yota in my driveway now! Later...

This is the first time that my father doesn't have a Toyota in the driveway and it's because he gave it to me. He had an old Corolla wagon, an '83 Tercel 4x4 wagon, '86 4Runner and '92 4Runner, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the cars soon gets traded for another 4Runner or a Matrix, and I'll definetly own at least 1 toyota, I'm planning on taking a mechanic's program here in a couple of years time which is run in cooperation with Toyota Canada (At NBCCC Moncton). So you can say that I'm a little bit of a yota nut

I went out and bought a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. Brand new, no miles, and the thing was in the shop on a weekly basis. I ended up driving my 86' 4Runner with 100,000 miles on it cause it was more dependable. I would not recommend that car or the company to anyone.

I thought about selling my 84 to get a bigger "family" rig but my 8 year old said "but dad, how would we go mud bogging?" Well, I'm keeping it and looking for a 4runner. Oh yeah, my latest major engine repair...$28...for a fuel pump. Yotas rule!
