the truck looks nice and might be perfect depending on what you want.
on the other hand who knows how hard it has been wheeled. It looks like it was done right though.
Its got pretty high miles.
You should try to find out why they are selling.
As far as ebay goes: if its not local to you shipping and transfer of papers may be a pain.
Also the reserve is not met yet. My guess is the reserve is much higher than the 3000 its at now.
Lastly the best way to get a good deal on ebay is to wait til the absolute last second to place a bid. Bidding before the auction end just drives up the price. However you may lose to another bidder doing it that way.

;D Looks like a good deal to me. No matter what, it'd give a nice base to work off of. HOWEVER, as of right now, the bid's up to $3251 & the reserve hasn't been met. I'd guess that the reserve is going to be up around what you'd expect to pay for this truck. I'd say at least $5000. There are only 11 hours left so, figure out your max. &, like bikeguy said, place your bid last second. I've won numerous auctions this way. Later...

You could easily pay what the bid is now, just to get a SAS done by a shop like he did. As far as hard wheeling, judging by the body's good condition, and the fact that he has the valance looking chromed and still on the truck I would say this truck was built more for street bling bling. Add in all the smitty built crap that hardcore wheelers despise and the fact that he had all the work done for him. As well as him saying he figured out the front end wobble and a panhard bar is all that's needed. He must have meant anti-sway, as a panhard is a fifth link which locates the axle side to side on a four link set up. Nothing to do with leaves. Sounds to me like he had it built and wheeled it a little, but mostly street drove it and became frustrated by it's lack of street manners. Maybe I'm reaching. Right now it is a good deal, but like 4xFred is saying, who knows if the reserve will be met, or if it's even a fair price at the reserve. Defiantely a good start on a great functional off road Toy if it can be had for the right price.
