please say you are not just driving it in four wheel drive on dry pavement, or if you arn't whatever surface you are driving on is not give you enough slippage to allow the wheel to turn at different speeds. right now your front wheels are pulling against your back wheels, causing a bind in your tranfercase

sometimes when i wheel in 4L and go to put it back in 2H it doesnt want to move. So I back up and it usually comes right out. It only does it when I seem to put torque to the drivetrain.?

Is ur transfercase gears or chain driven? Cuause if its chain, sounds like is really lose. In other words worn out, and gettn wrapped up. Just my 2 cents

;D And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but be sitting down when you call Toyota for a chain. I'm in the biz & MY cost was almost $400. I've not located ANY aftermarket ones yet. All my regular suppliers laughed @ me!! Later...
