Today, after church, I stop at the grocery store for some breakfast items. As I illegally pull forward out of the parking space, rather than backward, I almost hit an old man driving an '85 Toyota pickup. Realizing that it is, indeed, a fellow toyota driver, I let him park and give him a smile! "Wow", I told my wife, look at that truck! It's in near perfectly new shape!! Look at that str8 axle.....hmmmm. As the old man exits his vehicle, I let him know that, when he's interested in parting with the vehicle, to let me know. (small town). He replies, "I could have sold this truck 1000 times already". I smile. He adds more heartbreak, by also letting me know that it only has 42,000 original miles on it!!!! I talk with him for quite a while to butter him up, and find out he has, literally, GIVEN away a 52 Mercury and a 69 Olds to people in the community (the mercury is now being worked on....it didn't run...but still!). Both vehicles were given away last year!! Now...i'm really buttering him up. Come to find out....he goes to the same church as me, WOW!!! Can I convince my wife that I can never find that vehicle anywere ever again!!!....even after just buying my 4Runner last week??? Probably not, but I'll trying!!!

If it's fuel injected, I'd say jump on it and tell her later ;D

Keep tabs on that truck man. You never know when it might be up for sale. I've seen a couple like that and they are good finds. Of course as nice as this guy sounds, he deserves this sweet toy.
