I want to get a safari top for my 86' 4Runner. I have seen people in magazines running them, but they are not specifically for the Runner. Does anyone know what safari top I need?

Actually, I am not looking for a safari top, i am looking for a Traditional bikini top off of a Jeep to fit from the back of my cab, over my rollbar. Sorry for the confusion on my end.

then i would say just get a jeep sun brief, they are like $50. i bet it would work, velcro the the bar half to the rollbar and and if made a small loop you could bolt into the body by the front, then you attach the front velcro

when i mount my rollbat in the back, i plan on welding on a bracket on the side so that my spare tire will sit upright. you could do the same with a spot for the hi-lift

I'm not sure if they still sell them, but Downey off-road had them at one time for the 4runner. I think they were about $130, but they were made to fit the 4runner. Another company at one time had a top similar I think it was SunTops but not 100% sure.

Ct, a can-back looks great on a toy, but they are so expensive, the only way i'll get one is when i win the power ball, then im gonna get a 502 and some rockwells and the 49 inch irocs.
