a few weeks ago i noticed that when my truck was in neutral at a stop it would bogg down and almost die. it would studder and almost die, then it rev, then almost die again...and so on. and its been doing it ever since. a few times it has died when its in neutral.
today was really bad, were it would try to die at every stop or turn when i had it out of gear. my truck is fine when i am driving it in gear and accelarating.
it could be air, fuel, or oil. my guess is air. but i've heard that engines stall out when oil is low, which mine probably is. but would low oit cause an engine to die?
any help would be great, thanks so much

Mine would always do this when the coolant was low. Not exactly the first thing one would think of but go figure.

this post is a little late, but i just stumbled onto this thread. the exact same was happening to me, check your fuel filter. My issue was caused by a rusty gas tank destroying my filter and clogging my carb, a new filter and some carb cleaner fixed the problem

I have noticed that my 22re does this if the oil cap isn't tight enough too, kinda odd I know, but I have the famous oil leak and have been in a hurry a time or 2 and didn't tighten it all the way and my truck idled poorly.
