I have a 2002 Tacoma 4wd 4-door, and I was waondering which lift kit would be best:
FAbtech 3.5" Basic Pro Comp 4" Stage 1 Skyjacker Platinum Series 2.5" Tuff Country 3"
Money is a concern since I just turned 16. Any help would be appreciated.

dont forget downey 3 1/2" lift. its adjustable and its like 700$ ...it is a good kit, easy to install, and it replaces your stock coil springs ( tuff country doesnt)

You can buy Revtek lifts through the dealer. I think they are reasonalby priced and the definately won't void your warrenty.

Hey man, Sounds like you have a nice ride. But since you are saying that money is an optionI would get this lift. www.cornfedsuspension.com/I run their full 3" lift on my 97 taco and its awesome. All in all the kit ran me 330 out the door and this comes with the spacers for the front and a Add a leaf and new shocks for the rear. David is a super nice guy that runs the site and like I said I have been running this for over a year and no complaints. Its basically the same kit as Revtek but at a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps man and if you have any questions just post. Also if you have more questions try www.ttora.com my name on there is twales ty

All Pro just came out with their own kit. One of the leading companies in hard core rock crawling parts and the first company with a complete SAS kit and Toyota Hi steer, you know these guys know how to design and build things tough. With cromoly a-arms and bilstien coilovers its more of a high end kit but I thought I would post it for others who might be interested. www.allprooffroad.com/tacoma.html

You ask what kit is the best out of those! What do you mean the best? What do you want out of the lift and what wheeling do you think you will be doing? But if you are looking for just a lift for looks, to fit some bigger tires and do a little offroad and save money then the confed lift is the best bet! If you want performance then the kings coilovers are a great choice. here is a list of all the lifts for a tacoma Black diamond 2.5 inch,31's cornfed 2-3 32's camburg 2.5,31's daystar 2.5,31's doetsch 2.5 31's doetsch 4, 33's doetsch 6(two above combined) 33's donahoe 3,32's doweny 3.5,33's fabtech 3.5,31's fabtech 6, 35's king off road 2.5,31's northwest 3,31's old man emu 2,30's pro comp 4, 33's rancho 1.5 31's revtek 3, 31's rough contry 2.5,32's skyjacker 2.5, 31's skyjacker 3, 32's sway away 3, 31's total chaos 4,33's trailmaster 6,33's tuff country 3,32's whiplash 4-10,38's
those are the tire sizes the company of the lifts recommend but you can fit larger on almost all of them. And the remark about the revtek lift not voiding your warrenty is not all true. That is the lift that toyota uses when they put one on a tacoma that they sale with 32's brand new. But if you don't buy it that way then anything that is in your suspension will be void. Unless you get a cool dealership that will be cool about it. If you have anymore questions email me at redtoy92@hotmail.com

The 2002 Tacomas don't have manual hubs therefore you can't go over 2" suspension without buying a complete suspension lift that drops the control arms, third member, etc. if you do go with the some of the kits that you have listed that just provide spacers or adjustable coil overs then you are going to wear out cv axles, brass bushings in the front that the cv's ride in (then they make really load squeaking noises going down the road), not to mention the fact that they will roar or hum going down the road (very irritating). I have an 02 Tacoma reg ccab with the Daystar 2 1/2" spacer kit and a 3" body lift and 33" Interco M/Ts. I also have converted mine to manual hibs with all the parts off a 95 Tacoma. Just thought I'd let you know.

yeah that is true but alot of people have the pre-runners so no need and alot of people still run 3inchs with no drop but I already provided a site to make some of your own drops for a few bucks. red

THese paople have had NO problems outta the front od a ADD equipped taco with a 3"spacer. I ran that setup for over a year and I offroaded my rig HARD. I have never had a blown cv or cv boot. Of course maybe my 97 is built better than the newer tacos but then again most of the members ont he TTORA board ahve newer tacos. ty
