that is if you buy the muffler and have a local shop bend and weld your pipes!! I feel it is the best way to do it because of how much cheaper it is but still gives you what you want. Who wants to pay 400$ for a system bolt-on

$400!! You can pick up a Gibson cat-back from Summit racing for $250. But to save $50, you might as well go with the flowmaster and shop job. Midas ( muffler shop ) - were I live - said they would install the muffler and run a new pipe for $75!

ive got a 98 tacoma 3.4 and i put on a glass pack and it sounds awesome, little loud but its got a rumble to it. i had a turbo muffler on my 2.7 and it sounded pretty good as well gave it a deep hum. i had muffler shop bend up both of mine. so if u want a different sound from everybody elses flowmasters go with the glass pack.

I put in a 50 series flowmaster and 2.5 in. pipes. Now I'm thinking about putting in a high performance intake. Will it change the exhaust tone? Prices seem to vary quite a bit for the intake kits. Any recommendations?
