i am new to the board and i currently own a 93 nissan pathfinder with a 3 inch suspension lift and 31x10.50 bfg mud terrains.....well let me tell u nissans suck to lift ... there no good for off roading and im makin a switch here soon....i wanna get an extended cab tacoma around a 99-01 model and am wanting to know what size tires and gears i should run with a trailmaster 6 inch suspension lift and a 3 in body lift??.........i was thinkin 35's were the biggest but im not sure after lookin at some pics and was wonderin if someone else would help me out.... thanks in advance

i think you could go 37s maybe 38s but you WILL have to change gear ratios too.5.29 ratio will do fine but no bigger unless you dont go offroad.

would there be rubbing with 37's or should i drop down to 36's so they dont rub

i guess my question is what could i run with a 6 inch suspension lift and 2 or 3 inch body lift without having it rub

sigh .... ive searched this forum over and cant find any threads telling me an answer....with a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift what should i run....i dont want any rubbing

im not a taco man but i would guess with 9" 37s will fit withou rubbing but you will pay the price with ifs.

For the trailmaster with 3inch body you can fit 36 12.5's and with a 2inch 35's. for the gears at least a 4.88 with the 36's. If you go any bigger you will have rubbing. redtoy92
