Ive been wheeling with a guy with the exact same set up. He had more power with his 3.4 in hi range then I could get out of my 3.0l in low with 4.56 in the pumpkins to his stock 4.10. I think it will be fine.

First off many people have problems with the second strut on the trailmaster lift. You might want to go aftermarket on that strut to save you time. But the lift has been good other then that. for the 35's you will rub!! You will have to add a coilover, coilspacer or body lift or trim to help clear. If you don't mind some rubbing then you will be okay. The new fabtech lift will clear the 35's better but it is still new and hasn't been proven yet. You will be okay on the driveshaft. I would change my gear to 4.56 for stock or 4.88 performance. but you can stay with stock if you don't mind the power loss. And the extra power helps make up for the tires but gears are were it is all at. It will be one of the best mods you do!! redtoy92

Just a general question about a 6inch lift, with probably 33's instead.....does anyone out there have an educated guess on the height of a taco after a 6 inch lift....i'm trying to see if i can get a 6 inch lift and the truck still be able to fit in the parking garage.....if not that would be very very BAD!

First off I would not goo with the Trailmaster junk I have personally seen this kit on a couple of trucks would not run it! I would run the 6" Fabtech kit. This is a very nice kit does not use a second strut it keeps the factory upper and lower control arms, and when you compare the prices it's not much higher than the Trailmaster and it a whole lot better. This is the kit I am putting on my 02 Tacoma. And as far as fitting in parking garages you should not have a problem I have 6" of lift now with 33" tires and I fit with no problem now if you go bigger than that you will not be able to fit.

Well the parking garage is marked 6'11"...how much i trust it...well i don't. It seems to me when i look out of my moon roof in my truck, right under a beam, that it would be cutting it close, so close to where i don't want to hit different different inclines too fast....and i was planning on getting the fabtech...

i have a 3" lift with 31's and my truck (99 taco) sits 71 inches from the ground to the top of the taillight (i think thats around 5'11") so add another 3" for the lift and around 2 more inches for the tires for a grand total of 76" or 6'4". give yourself 3 inches just to be safe and your looking at 6'7".

oh yeah... you might have a problem with the antenna hitting since the top of mine sits 80" (6'8") off the ground so yours would sit 85" (7'1")

That's more then hitting.....3 inches of antenna smacking the beems wouldn't be fun, but antenna's are easily replaced....unlike the tops of trucks.

ah... hitting smacking its all the same thing... you could get an antenna thats mounted inside on the windshield. i think there $20 or so... that would solve your "smacking" problem

As for regearing, I would recommend it. I ran my 35's and 4.10's for like 3 months before regearing, and I wish I would have done it a lot sooner. The power increase was amazing. Now I am running 4.88's.
