hmm. Yeah your gonna have to throw on front axle. Full sized axles will work. Not really sure if you have actually looked into what axles you will use. D-44, D-60, ford, rockwell? There are a bunch of options depending on what you want to do. The springs dont necessarily have to be custom. I'm not sure why you would use a superlift when your already making a homemade lift anyway. If you wanna go big for mud boggin...get the biggest axles you can afford. Get some big leaf springs, fab the perches to add lift, get long shackles, big tires, long driveshafts, crossover steering, lockers front and rear, put in a v8...and your ready to go.
If your serious check out
shakerbuilt.com
He builds a bunch a toys with d-60's and such. Might be what your lookin for.

Well, axles can be found in a bunch of ways. Your local junkyard, ebay, web boards, 4x4 shops, pay out the nose for a setup axle ready to go. Just depends on how much you want to spend and what axle you want to use.

Looks like you and snorkle have this conversation well under control. Sounds like you got a good deal going with the Tocoma. As far as the Chevy lift, what all comes with it?
