I just bought a 95 tacoma, 4 cylinder 2.7 L. I dont have a instrument cluster with a tach, does it have a fuel light if so where is it located. Also thinking of upgrading my cluster to one that has a tach is it interchangable with a 95-96 instrument cluster that has a tach in it. And does the instrument cluster with the tach have a fuel light and would my truck be pre wired with the fule light. If you know it would help me thanks.

YOUR BETTER OFF JUST ADDING A TACH. OTHER WISE YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY A NEW CLUSTER,GUAGES, AND THEN YOU GET TO RE-WIRE THE ENTIRE DASH PANEL. AND I HAVE NOT SEEN A FUEL LIGHT ON A TACO

I have a fuel light right next to the gas gage, but then again i drive a 99....i would also just go with the adding a tach, I would do a pod gauge instead of a big tach that you have to mount on your dash, to me the pod gauges have a nicer look to them, and you can always add another one...like oil pressure....

I have a 99 as well the vehicle either has it or it doesn't it is hit or miss there was no pattern or paticular models involved it was done at random from what i've been told by toy techs. and I agree with the pod guages
