Just wanted to get some ideas as to what kinda mods people would do. Such as Lifts, exhaust, and etc.

Id put a revtek 3" lift on it with some 32'' BFG Mudders. Throw on a K&N filtercharger and a Magnaflow exhaust. Tint the windows and a Rhino lined bed and youre set!

sounds good...  I was gonna get Rhino lined bed... but since I take my truck to the beach... since the rhino bed is kinda rough... i thought it would scratch up my surfboard... so i went with the reg. toyota bedliner... but i kinda like how the toyota bedliner looks over the rail, since my truck is red.... the over the rail bed liner matchs the black fender flares...  |

I didnt get the TRD Off-Road package... since I was fairly new to the off road truck scene... I just saw it had 4wd and figured it was good enough... am I totally missing out by having not gotten the TRD package... i mean i really cant tell the difference except that i dont have the TRD Off-Road Sticker on the sides.... i guess the 4wd Mud flaps are my pride and joy.... haha i even asked the dealer before i bought it why it didnt have a TRD Sticker... and he just told me some BS that I didnt need it since it was already 4wd... haha. |

Yeah you miss out on a little more then just some TRD stickers on the side  . The main thing is the rear locker!!! ;D a great feature. Plus way better shocks, prgressive front coils,fender flares,etc. but you will do fine just playing around in yours. I also have an 03 tacoma(TRD SR5 EXT>CAB V-6 Supercharged) ;D ;D. So far all i have done is a charger but a 6inch lift(fabtech or trailmaster) 4.88 gears, 33 12.5 BFG Mud, Rhino line(much better then the toyota liner(it will rub the paint off of the bed and the rails and will rust in the future), and the underdog fuel upgrade kit!!! |

yeah... do the prerunners TRD have rear locker? i was kinda wondering why they make the prerunners TRD when they are only 2wd....

yes they do have the rear locker. they are made for more of the baja,sand,etc. the locker is still very good upgrade for the pre runners. They have the same parts as an 4x4 trd but they don't have the 4X4. they also have an heavy duty rear swaybar, custom exhaust.
