Rim size???

I have a 99Tacoma TRD... I don't know if it will make a difference or not...
I want a 15x10 rim but don't want alot of rub either! I want that wide of a rim b/c when i lift it i want to put a wide tire on it, & from what i have read & been told the widest tire you can put on a 15x8 is a 12.5.... Let me know if anyone has this setup or knows more about it....

what lift and what backspacing and how wide a tire?

I have researched some lifts & it will probably just be a 3 body with 3 or 4 suspenion... i want a wide tire b/c big trucks with small tires doesn't look right to me & thats what i want big truck big tires! So something even like a 13.5 or 14.5 & i know it's just an inch but it makes a difference....

oh backspacing... i don't know.... i know what backspacing is but i have no clue what the dimenion is or would be....

will with 7 inchs of lift you can clear 35 12.50s on 10's but for the 13-14 inch wide on 10's and 35's or higher you will rub, not to bad. just get a 6inch suspension and then a 3inch spacer or coilover and you can run 36 13.50's! red
