I had shop put a body lift on my 99 tacoma a year ago. Both shifters broke off at the extension/weld in a matter of months. Is it that difficult to get a good weld on the shifters? Is this common? Will I have to drag my truck to this shop every year? Is there a place on the web where I can buy new shifters? thanks for any help

never heard of this problem. I would bet it is shitty work. take it somewhere else that can weld and you should not have any problems red
