Has anyone on here put the TRD headers and TRD Exhaust on there truck? I'm thinking about putting them on mine. I 'm gonna do it myself and need to know if its all bolt on or do I have to hack something up and weld other things. Its a 2001 Double Cab 4WD

Yeah, I thought about putting them on my truck....but then I saw the price and wondered why it's so more expensive then other systems, and I still don't know. There is an article in the article section about header swaps, check it out, it's a good write up. I know for a fact the exaust system is bolt on.....cause it says so, but I find it hard to shell out over 500 for something that I can get the local shop to do for cheeper, Including labor. And If I think correctly, the aftermarket TRD products aren't designed by toyota themselves, but smaller toyota dealers. I might be completly incorrect. I've heard a lot about the delta 40 from flowmaster with some custom pipes from the muffler shop. I would deff. go with stainless steel because aluminzed always wants to turn black at the tip.....

they are both good products, the trd headers give you the low end and not so much the top end. YOu can do the exhaust easy but the headers will take alot more work. YOu may want to have some one install those. I have heard it is very hard to get them to fit. good luck red.
