im getting 33"x12.50 tires. i want to get some aftermarket rims, but i've heard some rumors that i can only get 16" rims for my taco, b/c of a problem with the caliper rubbing aftermarket 15" rims. is this true? do i need 16" aftermarket rims or can i use 15" aftermarket rims?

I had this problem as well, but when researching it I was being told that it was only a problem with Steel Rims because of the way they sit. Every local shop tried to sell me 16" stating that they would fit. After calling American Eagle & Rock Crawler directly they told me that their 16" would not even fit. Gary Wheeler has been working with a local shop in Oregon to modify Rock Crawlers and they fit. Once again he comes through. Check it out and they are cheap, but I insisted on Black Rims..... www.wheelersoffroad.com/toywheels.htm

it is true but alot of 15 inch wheels fit no problem. if not a little trim or a spacer will fix the problem. red
