I recently bought a 2001 Tacoma w/ 30,000 miles on it. I've never driven a small pickup truck before only fullsize. I absolutely love the thing but when I get on the highway and hit 65 and over it starts to jerk and jump within the lane. It feels like it is overcompensating for small bumps in the road and it is something that definately doesn't feel normal, any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Does it kind of feel like there's a tire not balanced properly??....that would be the first place I would check

could be to much pressure in the tires or they need a balance. if this doesn't fix it let me know and we will go to the next step. red

Yeah jerking and jumping in the lane is no good. Especially on a truck this new. Redrunner is right about tire pressure. Make sure they don't have too much air. Also can you describe more about what you mean...jerking and jumping? Also does it have a lift, or oversized tires? Any suspension mods we should know about? Does the steering wheel pull or does the truck just fade. Is the road surface flat, grooved highway, or are there truck indentions in the road? Those are just some things to check. Congrats on getting a toy!
