im thinking about making a home made leveling kit for a 3" revtek susp lift on a 99 taco... i was thinking about cutting out some spacers (for the front IFS) made out of angle iron (beat the angle iron flat with a big hammer), and get longer studs. the studs have about a 1/4" of space left. i dont know if i would have to get longer studs or not. let me know if you think this is a good idea or not

Can you explain more what you mean by leveling kit?
Not sure what your planning on using angle iron for but I wouldn't recommend you beat it flat. Just get some flat metal for what you need.

the front of my truck sits a little lower that the rear (maybe b/c of the ARB bullbar) i wanted to level it out by placing some spacers ontop of the revtek lift to bring the front end up alittle. it doesnt need much, maybe a 1/4" or 1/2". the reasdon i wanted to use angleiron is b/c i have some sitting around my house and its strong. om not doing anything structural to the susp just some spacers. i thought angle iron would be stronger than something like washers. ill probaly try to find some flat metal

the angle iron might be a little inconsistent smashed flat with a hammer, i would go with 1/4 or 3/8 flat stock , cut it out the same size as the spacer with slots for the studs but dont go thicker than you have threads showing on your studs now.

umm i would't do that if it was my truck! I would try to make the rear seat 1/4 inch lower first. And yes it is the new front bumper that makes it seat lower so you could just get some OME heavy duty coils and it should level it out. I know you want to do this cheap, but remember you get what you pay for

when i had my lift put on they told me it was the factory rake that makes the tacoma sit lower in the front
