Anyone know what it takes to install the fabtech lift how hard it is and speical tools needed? I have a 04 ext cab 4x4 v6. i also read on the fabtech web page that they don't recommend lifting a truck with add more than 2" has anyone had any problem with this?

I have a 04 ext cab 4x4 v6. i also read on the fabtech web page that they don't recommend lifting a truck with add more than 2" has anyone had any problem with this? the add thing is only for spacer or coilover lifts. it makes your cv's go off of stock angle causing wear and tear on the front. the 6inch lift is a drop diff that keeps stock angles! the lift shouldn't be done if you don't have good knowledge of your truck and trucks in general. you will have to cut the front member. but that is not to hard. the hard part is pressing in the new extended length steering knuckles. you will need a very big press for this job. red oh yeah i have the lift and will be putting it on this May!
