K Well I completely shatterd the ball housing on my CV axle Courtsey Of SSR's now my problem is that i cannot get my outer CV axle/spindle out!!!!!
ive torn the hub apart "what i can get too" gone all the way to the rotor looking for a hiddin clip and taken a 200lb impact chisle/hammer to the outer spindle and not even the slightest budge any suggestions?

Have you taken the hub body itself off. Toyota uses cone washers to hold the hub on. Most people inexperienced in toyota's will take off the hub nuts and wonder why the hub body won't come off not realizing the cone washers are seated and not allowing it to move.
To remove the cone washer take a small chisel or flathead screwdriver and hit the cone washer where it is split. Let me know if this is the problem or not.

yeah had to take the impact chisle to get them loose and once those were all out the hub housing was still holding tight.... do i just need to pound the crap out of that?

Well if you do, try a rubber mallet or a ball peen with a block of wood. But it shouldn't take much. Do you have a digital camera so you could post or send me a pic? What kind of hubs do you have? Automatic, manual or drive flanges? The add drive flanges and manual hubs are very straight foward. The auto's are a little trickier. yes well after searching the web for about an hour i found this www.tacomaterritory.com/~techarticles/mancv1.html and it helped me out quite a bit the outer hub houseing was just giving me alot of trouble it was stuck on the spindle damn good gasket i would say. now that i have found out there is a clip and the bolt with the washer i feel like and idiot and as soon as the new hub comes in problem will be solved
