I'm looking at a 99 Taco with a TRD supercharger and only 43,000 miles.
Should I be warry of the supercharger? Does it require any special maintenance, or cause the engine to wear faster? I love the idea of the power, but don't want to sacrafice reliability or life.
Anybody have experience here?
Thanks, Ryan

When i was reading about the supercharger, i read something that said you are only allowed to use the Premium gas with the supercharger. If this is true or not i'm not sure...but with gas prices the way they are...i'm not sure i want to find out.

Yeah, too late now...I bought it last night.
It is in great condition, and I like the sound of the supercharger! It still has a few months left on an extended warranty, so I'm not concerned about it.

Yeah, that's why I jumped on it. Ended up paying $17,000, but the truck could not be in better shape. It has all the power options as well as the TRD package & supercharger so it was a pretty rare find. Detailed it last night and plan to go find some mud this weekend
