I am going to be putting in a 3"toytec lift within the next couple of weeks. the question that i have is the following. i am currently running the 31x11.50 swampers on 15x7 inchrims with no lift and they rub alot during hard turns. I also had 31x10.50 with 15x8 rims and they rubbed hard also. once the lift is in i will be running the 15x10 mt classics with the 31x11.50 swampers. Will the swampers still rub you think with the 15x10 inch rims? do you think that i should also get some new front coils cause my truck has 144k on it? if so where could i get a good set of coils maybe with some additional lift even? i am running 15x10 cause i am getting the lift and rims for free. cause i am trading him my 31x10.50 brg allterrains and 15x8 american racing outlaw twos. BTW if anyone out there is interested in four brand new 32x11.50 bfg allterrains with like 400 miles on them, let me know.figure like 100 bucks per tire. thanks for any help!

the lift is very similar to revtek or all the rest. it uses front coil spring spacers, and a rear add a leaf. and bpv bracket. so yout hink that i will need to hook myself up with some new coils to help the hieght issue? I might do it anyways cause the truck has 144k. should i get stock coils or look for some stronger ones, that way the truck doesnt sag as much in the front like some of the tacos do? thanks!
p.s: you have nay idea how much a set of front coil springs would be?

Since your truck has 144K miles on it, its a good bet that your suspension fron and back are worn out. By putting the ToyTec lift on the front coils, all your doing is wearing them out faster. They preload the springs. Your situation is close to mine. I have a DBL cab with 78K miles on it. I thought about these types of lifts, but am steering towards a coilover lift instead. I am looking at the Fabtech performance lift. That way I get new coils and Fox shocks in the front and an AAL for the back to give me more towing capacity. Plus 31's on a 10" rim are going to be very flat and short. On an 8" they will be square and a lot more comfortable to be sitting on top of.

I'm running the same lift with 33x10.5 BFG All terrains mounted on 10" American Racing Rims with no rub at all. I guess it would depend on the offset your running.

If you have some rub issues already, adding a 15x10 may not help much at all! The 15x10 makes the tires actually wider then it would on a smaller width rim! Also you have to remember its all about the offset as well. My buddy is runnin 15x8's 33x12.50's with a 3 inch body lift on his taco, and his rub some kind of bad, and im runnin 15x10's with 33x12.50's on my PU with a 3 inch body lift as well, and i have no rub whatsoever! Its just something to consider. Plus with taht wide of a rim and that tire width really close the wheel size you wont be able to air down your pressure as much, becuase you can pop off the bead easier!
