 what is some opinions on a remote start for my truck? would yall recommend on or not.

let me know if you have a standard or auto, dont worry you can do them safely in standards. i can tell you the best brands to go with and give you all the info you could ever need on this topic. i have been a car audio installer for the last 8 years so i can help!

i have an automatic. ive heard about the wolf remote start system and the bulldog. what is the best one to go with?

both of those are real cheap remote starts. i have seen them fail so many times. some of my customers will come in with them and all the stories are the same. ether they have no range or the unit will smoke for no reason. go with a DEI product or the best brand i have found is Astrostart out of canada, i have been doing them for about 8 years and they have the best range and reliability. these will cost a bit more but if you want it to work and not burn you truck down, its the way to go. if you have a hard time finding what you need, let me know and i could help you out. the good news is that your truck is very easy to install a r/s in! also if you have a fax, i can send you all you need. good luck.

if you look on their web site, www.astroflex.com, the model 903 and up will do standards with a add on part. it is very safe and easy to do. if you are interested i can help you get a unit that will work starting at $175 with the manual interface. let me know if i can help. you can e-mail me at jeepeater95@yahoo.com |
