Okay, heres the deal...
I am buying a Taco for a tow rig and daily driver at the moment. I'm looking at Ext Cab, 4x4, V6 trucks but I really don't care if its auto or manual transmission at the moment. It seems that most of these trucks that I come across within my budget are auto tranny.
I do plan on building it into a tow rig several years down the road, so I was wondering how hard the swap to a manual transmission would be?? Yes I know about the clutch pedal and shifter and such, but can someone tell me, can I just get a V6 manual transmission and put it in?? Also, are automatics floor or column shift? thanks for any help
