Just got my new Taco last week (new to me, a 2004) 1st vehicle I've had with auto hubs. I've heard of the "back-up" to disengage with some trucks. Should I expect it with this? I used 4x4 last night and it engaged firmly(level on the floor) while stopped. And disengaged nicely while moving. Light came on for 4x4 and went off accordingly. Should I have to back up to get the hubs fully out? Everything seems to work great. With the LS rear-end, I actually never even needed to put it in 4wd.... Just wondering what to expect.
Thanks Stew

I still do. To an extent. I need the ability to travel for work. I've been broken down away from home(far) twice in my life and will not have it happen again, if there is anything I can do about it. That and I really didn't want another vehicle payment/loan. Can't beat 6% on use though! The new trucks not going off road, until paid for.
I say that, but I'm sure that will change by spring time.

Thanks Stew The only prob we've had with the auto hubs is that in bad weather we ocasionally had trouble getting them to disenguage this was on a '02 dbl cab my brother's '02 x-cab has not had any problems at all.
