Speedometer Cable???

Hello all... Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a hidious noise coming from the speedometer cable? my 97 toy makes a god awful scream when its cold outside. If so how did you fix it? is replacing the cable the only option?

It needs lubrication !!

You can try spraying some lubricant in from the t-case end. Don't use WD40 tho, get some real lube.
