Hi Guys and Gals, I am looking into purchasing a 4Runner preferebly between either a 95 or a 96 if the price is right. It would be a family rig with occasional drives over snowy passes. I am concerned that about the Head Gasket Myth with the 6 cylinders that I have heard about. Is this true and if so should I seriously be looking at a 4 cylinder? I wont be able to afford to repair a head gasket all the time. Nor do I want to. Also is this a problem in a 96 V6 also? Thanks.

The head gasket problem is with the 3.0 v-6 not the 3.4 which has no known real problems
