Why is it that every custom exhaust shop I go to says they cannot put dual exhaust from muffler (flow master) back, But I see a lot of pics on this web site and others with dual exhaust? Is it that damn difficult?!!!!!!! Does someone sell a dual exhaust kit ??

You might ask them if they can dual the exhaust from the Cat back. It is possible to dual the exhaust, just gotta find the right guys to do it. Haven't heard of any kits for this yet.

The reason they are saying they can't do it is that in order to run a dual I had to give up carrying the spare tire under the bed with the tire under there there isn't any room for pipes I had a couple of shops tell me no or give me some rediculus price to turn me away but as long as you can find a way to carry your spare it can be done

I had to remove the spare tire on my tacoma. I have 2 1/2 in duals from were the muffer was back. The exhaust wouldnt fit beteen the shock and spare tire.

It's all in the shop you goto. I had a custom 92 toyota truck and wanted a flowmaster with dual exhaust and 3" tips but wanted it all tucked in tight and hidden. every shop in town was like it can't be done. Without even looking at my truck. I new it could be done because the floor of the cab and bed had been raised up 3" (body dropped). Yet they all took one look and said no. I went to an old shop I had been to years before they said lets put it on the lift and see. they raised and lowered the truck (hydraulics) while looking and trying to route the exhaust needless to say they did it perfectly. I'm now an extremely loyal customer of theirs and tell everyone about them when they mention they need exhaust. It's all about customer service.

also I'd say look into buying a flowmaster with a single input and dual outputs that way you can get the look you want done right. Also Can I ask why you are stuck on duals? I just had a 2.25" exhaust from the cat back with a flowmaster with single in and out put on my 88 4-runner and it sounds sweet. Duals won't sound any different really.
