I can't move my 4 wheel shifter into 4 anything. It's like it's stuck in a little box. Any suggestions?

Is there any binding or load on the drivetrain when you try?

I was wanting to know if you had doubles, t-case gears, lift(body or susp.) And it does matter!!! Every mod. you make adds another prob. Proven fact. Later...

Is everything hooked up right? I bought a car from a buddy who couldn't get it to shift gears. The x-member was upside down!. No offense. If it worked before, check out what you did. Later...

If it happened when you had the clutch replaced, he probably just did'nt put the shifter back in properly. Same thing happened to me the first time I did my clutch. If it is a top mount shifter trying taking it a part and playing with it a bit to get it working.
