Does anybody have experience with the legal ORV trails in any of the state parks in Western MD. Looking to make my first trip soon and don't know what to expect...not looking for double black diamond trails, just want to have a little fun.

Called the Green Ridge State Park today and spoke with the DNR. I was told that there are no ORV permits needed as compared to some of the other parks. No restrictions as to snow mobiles only Dec.15 thru March 15 as with the other parks. And there is camp sites along the way. They have a 18 mile trail that goes up and back down the other side of a mountain. The lady said that some sections are "rugged" and others you could drive a car on.
