anybody a member of an actual club???? does anyone know of an actual area where a trip could be arranged??? Utilize this post!!!! C'mon now. I can name places I "could" go all day and night. But I'm limited here by the actual "legal" places. I don't have the resources to accomodate more than one or two additional vehicles. If someone know someplace we can "all" go, let's get together a set a time and date. what the hell, you only live once! cheap hotel or campground. sat/sun ride. I personnaly don't care if its a moderate "trail"ride. this fact of the matter is, the better aquainted people get with eachother, the more oportunties will arise. I usually find out I'm going off-roading one hour before I need to leave..... Hell, if I knew weds that a group was goin sat, I could prob make it there.... We've all got responsibilities...... Luckily, my wife grew up with a ya-hoo set of twin uncles. They (I believe) set the standard for inbreeeding and are the true definition of "squirrels" these two'd put 235's on a chrysler minivan just to get out on the trail.

;D In order... 1. Yes, Damage Inc.(website in the works) 2. Yes How far are you willing to go? I'm in touch w/Rausch Creek OHV Park in PA. right now. See the writeup in "4wheel&offroad". I'm not a "pay to play" dude but...it's alot easier. And we can "all" go. Later...

even better....(close to central pa) who's been there? do they have a wide variety of trails??? I've got open diffs, others are locked. Is it close to civilization? I know alot of pa is booniville..... I'm going to check my calender and come up with a date to get people's opinion..... (the postee's have seniority) hey, pa guy's..... does it dry up enough in june there???? also..... I'd never really ask anyone to "accomodate and entertain" the real question is.... is there accomodations in the area???? some PA towns lock-down at 4:30pm and they all go to sleep??? or maybe its kiss-yer-sister time? ha,ha,ha.... but really, just want an idea of what's avail if anyone knows..... I've been known to "tip" a few back...(not on the trail(that I'd admit/do in public)) DD=daily driver not drunken driver....... thanks guys, I really appreciate some dedication and devotion...and am really looking forward to this.

I go there about once a month with one or the other of the clubs I belong to.
They have from bunnie trails to comp trails.
Try drinking or anything else on the trail and your ass is outta there, permanently. That's not just RC policy, but also of the clubs.
KOA type campground and motels nearby, primitive camping onsite.
Not much in the way of nightlife.

it's still central pa none the less ;D it's outside Ravine off of rt 125 (cant remember the name of the side road next to the exxon station) to be almost exact ;D jk lol and was just there a week ago and it's a fun place the green and blue trails are fun but not all that challenging(the ones we went on) but FUN we had a blast everything was covered with snow had only one spot where the open dif screwed me but that was a snow problem but didn't have time to check out the harder trails if you call in advance they have camping there at the park and I saw a couple of hotels nearby and yes it's philly on one side pittsburgh on the other and alabama in the middle lol BUT the middle of the state the best part it's where alot of the wheeling is and June is usually pretty good weather

the alc policy is fine...and damn good for safety and family/group events. does your club or clubs have any sched get togethers in the month of june??? heck of alot easier to meet up than coordinate... that way maybe it'd be myself and 1 or 2 others.

;D I just talked to Lynn, the lady who runs Rausch Creek. As of April 1st., they go to summer operation. Which means all we need is 3 trucks, @ least 1 w/a CB, to run w/no guide. You just have to be @ the office between 8-10a.m. All we need to do is set a date. June 24-26 is out. Later...

sounds like Mike may take seniority here. What's good for you? Actually, That's could be taken the wrong way guy's! 4xfred and fourwd1 are the main guys along with myself, just hate to pass the opportunity to host Mike on the east coast.... If all goes well, by the time this happens... my 94 will be off-road only and there will be a v-8 tundra or v-6 taco in the driveway. anyone ever haul a trailer with a taco?

The 2 clubs I belong to, Maryland Creepers and Keystone Krawlers, are both having a trailride at RC this Sat, 3/19.
It's open to everyone, not just club members, although it helps if you pre-register with RC first, as there is a limit.

does anyone have a contact number for RC? I am considering the long haul there. Is there a tentative meeting time in the AM? I'm coming from basically Syracuse New York. Is there any local gas stations and such? sounds strange, but also sounds as though its in the boonies.... If I make it... Ill be running 33's w/4:10's and open diff's..no winch, just a strap and hitching points. I don't wan't to get in over my head, I'm unfamilier with the clubs general agenda.
PM me if there is anything that needs not be public information. thanks Stew

Seems like a long haul for one day of wheeling, but Contact - www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.orgWe're meeting at 8:30 AM Yes, there is a gas station fairly close (but not right there). It is kind of isolated, but it's also right off I-81. They have Green level trails you can run and there will be guides, esp for noobs. The snow makes things a litttle more challenging.
