If you ever have to replace the cable a 2nd time, there is an easier way than pulling the pin that engages the light. On the under side of the handle are little "levers" or "ratchets" that you lift up and the handle slides freely.

what i did was remove the switch out of the brake housing and it allowed me to push the ebrake handle in far enough i could get the broke peice out and not have to take a in out. also you have to push the two levers in to allow the handle to move freely
