i was reading one of my magazines, and i saw a home made air down tool. apparently i threw the mag away and now cannot remember how to do it. i know i need an air pressure regulator and an air chuck that attaches to the valve stem. you can attach it to your air compressor and see the tire pressure at all times. then take it off and air down too. if anyone has any info on this please help me out. thanks.

haha. i just stick a pen in the valve till it goes down a little then measure. if its too low, i blow it back up with a pump that plugs into the D/C system. cheap, ghetto and very effictive.

I have yet to use the STAUN tire deflators I me gifted myself for xmas this year. I also have OBA...( small compressor and 2 remote tanks ) It allows me to deflate/inflate my tires as needed and to use air tools as well. I will be looking at replacing the 2 small tanks with a larger single tank sometime during this summer.
I know its not home made, well the OBA part of it is.... I have tried different methods, and this is just what I prefer.. All of the hose you have to carry to hook up to each tire to regulate the pressure from one valve. Mine is a different perspective, I guess...
