So I just ordered an alarm for my 4Runner (it was broken into last week and had $1500 in car stereo and $300 in miscellany stolen) and I need to add PDLs for the alarm. Since I'm going to have the door panel off and the driver's window regulator needs to be replaced, I'm doing PWDs as well. My question pertains to the wiring of it.
Do I need to add relays (its pretty much a baseline 4Runner) or can I wire it through where they would be on the fuse block?
Last question, the alarm claims it can only work with automatic trannys, but I have heard that because of the "Clutch Start Cancel" option on some Toyota's, you can still do the remote start wiring (the reason the alarm won't work with manual trannys). Any idea whether this is true or how to do it?
