i read some of the reviews and found a few that said mickey thompson classic II will fit a 97 4runner sr5. well, i got a hold of some and was stoked. but , when the momment came the damn thing didnt fit it sits on the caliper any suggestions or do i need to just get rid of them? stock rims are 16x8 and the mt's are 15x10.

umm your calipers are prolly in the way. u can grnd them and get them to fit. i have done this several times to get the brakes on a dana 60 to fit inside of a 15 inch rim. or just get new rims. also is depends on the backspacing.

backspacing isn't going to help you might be able to grind depending on how much is needed see if they have the rims in 16s
