Can you be more specific as to what ad and issue maybe page #?
I would bet for less than 700 it is not new springs.

Okay I am guessing you are referring to a 4wheel parts ad for said lift for like $549. It shows superlift shocks and rear springs in the pic.
Well I called them about it. The lift is their house brand Genuine Suspension named lift. I haven't heard of anyone having one so I can't comment on quality. It is basically like any of the other ifs lifts out their according to the salesman. I has blocks for the rear not springs. Also I forgot to ask if shock were included. They are in the pic but then again so are rear springs. If it was decent quality and had shocks it might be worth it. Without shocks i doubt it.
I've seen pro-comp at times w/ shocks for $650 (forget where though). For $100 more at least you get a kit that some folks can give you feedback on.
I'd pass on it just because I hate false advertising. $550 for a full kit w/ rear springs: I would've bought it when i was on the phone.

;D I called 4Wheelparts too. For the buy a Procomp light bar & get a light set-up deal for free. And I quote: "that promo is over". It's in this month's "4wheel parts Off-Road Adventures" for Pete's sake! I'll save my $ & spend it on the guys who bust their ass to make sure we get a good product. Later...

Yeah I try to avoid 4wheelparts if at all possible. I've had a few troubles w/ them in the past. And many of their ads are "too good to be true".
If the poster is still looking for a cheap lift, National Tire and Wheel had the pro comp stage one on special for $550 w/ shocks and blocks.
I got tires and wheels from them and had them in two days for a better price than anywhere else. In fact i called 4wheelparts to pricematch it (the ad showed the same price i was getting w/ free shipping) BUT the ad doesn't mention the $200 to mount and balance them. They said I was making up the price and couldn't touch it.
Hope that helps. Later

In 4wheelparts for that price you are talking about the genuine suspension kit for 86-95 toyotas. I have wondered about it. It's weird, they don't mention it in all publications. I think it's probably identical to pro comp stage one. All that junk is the same company. (procomp=4wheelparts). They have used aggressive marketing techniques to make people think thier tires are good product. I'd just as well have mudkings as procomp. For the first years, I heard of more broken shocks than good ones from pro comp.
