I bought a 3in body lift off of ebay like 4months ago, it says its for a 4wd, but all it came with were the body spacers. And like 2 brackets. I have a 86 pickup 4wd, ext cab and auto, i plan on putting a manual in soon if i can find everything need for a good price. What all will I need to put the body lift on. Can I do it myself in my driveway, I usually do every myself just never messed with body work. How long does it take?

A BL, especially a 3" BL, should come with brackets to lower the radiator, raise the bumpers, extend the fuel filler neck, maybe the clutch and brake lines, and something for the steering column. One thing NONE of them come with is a bracket/adapter/extension for the auto tranny linkage. None of the BL makers will even have a listing for an auto tranny application. You will either have to fab something, or contact Roger Brown www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml#ATbracket

I put a trailmaster b/l on my 4runner. I went with it before i knew about 4crawler. Trailmaster does offer the adapter needed for an auto transmission.
Its been a while since i did mine but I was able to do it by myself in the driveway with hand tools. It took me about 6 hours to do. It would have been shorter but for some reason the passenger side was misalinged and I had to move it back about a half inch to get the bolts to line up and go through the blocks.
Get yourself a good set of directions, read everthing on the 4crawler link posted above and you should be fine assuming it came with everything you need.
