I'm getting ready to order some shackles and was wondering if the extra $ for greasable bolts are worth it. What will i need in the bushing department, seems how the non-greasables just gome with regular bolt. So my question is, are they worth the money and whats the pro's and con's?

I'm actually planning on making them myself but the greasable bolt themselves run for about 30 to 40 bucks. I asked some buddies and I think I'll just run non-grease. Thanks though

If you are into easy maintenance and don't like squeeky bushings go with the greasables. Plus people think greasables are cool and that is damn important. I don't have greasables and it seams like once a year I have to pull my springs out any way because I like to mess with stuff so I just grease them then. Strength wise it really isn't much difference, the holes are small and gun drilling an axle shaft is common practice in drag racing and those guys have 1000's of horsepower. The only down side is the possibility of snapping off the zerk on something.
