i was lookin around on the internet and found a special for a 4" pro comp stage 1 lift kit for $578. i was originally lookin at a 4" lift by superlift (w/shocks) and a 4" lift by tuff country (w/o shocks). i was wondering if i should get the pro comp or save up some more to get the superlift or tuff country? (if the superlift or tuff country which out of those two?)
thx

an sas is prolly about 1500-200 grand using a kit it can be done less. Really all IFS lifts are based off the same design so they are all about the same

has anyone had a pro comp lift? how was it offroad? how long did it last? (same ?'s with superlift kit if anyone has had one)
i'm lookin to have the IFS lift on for around 1 year maybe 2. i go muddin' about once a week sometimes more(waiting till i get everything together and fixed, especially my 4wd before i go again and well, for it to rain!)
reason i'm asking is because i'm tryin to get the cheapest lift kit(around $800) that will last me atleast a year(hopefully 2), so i can go ahead and get regeared, new wheels and tires for starters
thx for the help rock and anyone else who might help me

has anyone had a pro comp lift? how was it offroad? how long did it last? My ProComp IFS lift was installed in 2001. The lift blocks in the back were removed in 2003 & Skyjacker rear leafs replaced them. Still running that set-up with no complaints, so 5 years now. As for usage, I mud, wheel our local OHV areas & hit the logging trails along the Canadian border. As soon as I win the lottery, the SAS will happen.

I was recently looking to purchase a 4" lift and everyone I talked to around town said the best lift for 88-94 is the Trailmaster. This has been every place that I have spoke with about the different lifts. They say that the Trailmaster is a lttle softer ride, not much, and that you will actually get 4" like it says. They say other lifts actually give you 3" after its all said and done. Just my .02 after a reserch locally in AR.
