I was curious upon doing the Sky's or All Pro SAS lift if running the 84 or 85 axle would prevent me from being able to run 35's or larger tires? Would I have to upgrade to say 10-bolts or what not? Thanks...

If you're worried about strength, both F&R axles can be built up.

I understand running a SAS means you can run bigger tires but I was worried about if say I went above to 37's or what not if I would end up with a Dana 44 or something like that. I just read in 4 Wheel and Off Road that the 8 inch Toyota Axle is one of the strongest axles there is. Now a question I have is do I have 8 inch axles on the rear of my 88 4runner?

I run 38.5 Boggers on my Toy, and the axles are mostly stock...I havent done anything to add strength to the axles anyway, except for a truss on the front that is mainly there to mount the hydraulic cylinder....if anything, I have made life harder on them by running the 5.29 gears and welding the front...and I have never broke anything on my axles....well, unless you count a hole through the "cover" on the front when it came down on a rock...
the Toy 8 inch is actually quite a bit stronger then the 10 bolt, if you look into it, the Toy axle uses the same diameter and spline axle shaft as a D60....the weak point then is the Birfield joint, so make sure the steering stops are adjusted correctly, and you'll be OK
