it was on EBay a while back.... i seem to remember thinking it was kind of a poser truck, but i could be wrong, that might've been a different one... looks pretty sweet, tho

Looking at those springs it must ride like a tank.
It's strange to see a 1st gen with no (apparent) rust.

My first gen has no rust... it did have a LITTLE patch on the hood, but it came out with naval jelly and One Step.

Looking at those springs it must ride like a tank. It's strange to see a 1st gen with no (apparent) rust.
As far as the paint, it's probably underneath that pretty new paint job ;D although my 73 has no rust another then a few spots of surface rust where I was doing some body work and didn't get primer on it yet. It's still a rare site to see though.

Any Toyota truck before 1989 (and a few after) here in the midwest have some rust on them most of the time it takes it over  |

I'm from the rustcoast as well it is a rare thing to see one like that but is there heavy bondo or any section work done on this I've seen rust buckets come out with a almost factory look where only a body guy or someone with an eye for detail can pick out the spots from this pic it looks tight  |
