Never a good thing, to be in an accident.
If he wasn't driving a jeep he wouldn't have hit you? Just wondering.
I'd be more concerned about my frame. My 94 toy pu has been rear-ended twice. (big hitch behind/underneath) The last shot, totaled the car that hit me. pushed the motor into the firewall.... My truck looked fine. low and behold...bent frame. left rear wheel pushed 2'' forward. It's been "fixed" but I don't believe/trust frame work/straighteneing all that much. Hope everythings ok on yours. Stew

Sorry, but I don't believe in that all that much. Some people can only afford certain things. If they are good people.... they're good people..whatever they choose or afford to drive. Driving a toyota certainly doesn't make someone special. You..yourself do that. Did the toyota camry that hit my jeep(in 95) have seniority at the intersection? no. bad driver, made a mistake. I lived. I was wearing my seat belt. Ironically, they rear end job was done by a toy tercel. She was ok. car totalled. My son was in my truck. I was just behind it.(parked on side street next to my house). I jumped out da way and watched my son and truck shoot 25 feet over the curb onto the sidewalk. bad driver. bad driver. bad driver. icy winshield..... not the truck, not the car... the person behind the wheel.
sorry to carry on so much.... Thankfully you are ok. Long winded Stew...

i know that the truck/ car doesnt mean a thing... but the worthless piece of crap that hit me started to blame me for the MVA... so i was pissed and wanted to vent (sorry)... it wasnt till after i took a swing at him did he realize the error of his ways, and admit it was his fault since i was coming to a stop B/C i saw that he didnt want to share the road (i later told him i was sorry for trying to hit him) i have nothing against j**ps personally just some of the people who drive them... this is the thrid time ive been in an MVA that involved a j**p (the other 2 i wasnt driving)... and like the other 2 times it was some punk kid that thought he was better than everyone else... this kid was acting like the others (at first)... i know that not everyone that drives a j**p acts like this but it still pissed me off... thank you for killing my b%tch session... P.S. i know i lost my cool but everyone is allowed to do that once in awhile (at least where im from)... like i said before i just wanted to vent... you see im not a truck racist... i was just pissed

I agree on that whole check your frame thing...my 84 Toy and I were driving slowly down the end lane of the Meijer parkinglot and some punk kid was flying down an isle at around 40mph and broad sided me.Spun the yoder 180 deg and left me seeing stars.I got out and saw his car first and immediatly s**t down my leg thinking what my truck might look like.Asked if he was ok,got a yes, assesed my damages and it looked like nothing but a blown out rear tire and a 4 inch gash in the bottom of my passenger side door.Come to find out thanks to my 3 inch body lift my frame took nearly all of the blast. One day recently I was looking at the rear end of my toy and realized my rear drive shaft was crooked.Come to find out the pecker wood bent the frame. And to add insult to injury we were on privet property and there were no injuries so the cops and insurance would do nothing.I still drive the truck daily but I have to keep the steering wheel cocked to the right a lil bit and she pulls hard on braking.oh well life goes on an everyone is ok.Check your frame bub....tape measure it and look close.

HEY! I have nothing againt the venting of anger. I damn near punched the person who rear-ended my truck with my son in it... Till I noticed it was a girl.... Just don't like to see people get that angry. (other than myself) No offense intended. I'd be in jail myself if I punched everyone who pissed me off on a daily basis with my job. Sounds like you would too.... I just smile.....then go home a drink a crisp..cold.. Labatt's Blue..... Again...glad to hear YOU are ok, hope the trucks ok too. Stew

Yeah, no sense in getting p*ssed....BTW, if he went 25 head into you he must have been loaded...leaving a bar...wouldn't you think? Anyhow, my truck can be replaced for a price. My wife, kids, buddies and even the jackass' that hit me, they can't be replaced at all. Yes, it's stupidity to do something like that, but there is alot of stupid people driving these days. Take a jaunt down the freeway and count how many punks have no respect for themselves, the vehicles they're driving, the law of physics and everyone else on the road. I drive more defensively now in this modern age of "Fast and Furious" invincibility than ever before.....
