On easy trails, anything from Patsy Cline to Metallica to Rush and the Dead, NO RAP. When it gets tough all I listen to is the truck

I dig that good olde country, but not the music. Although once in a blue moon I do listen to it. I prefer to listen to almost anything that rocks like David Bowie or Bon Jovi to that nice calm mellow stuff that keeps my mind the way it is like Metallica (new and old), Godsmack, and Black Label Society

No country and no rap for me... I like some of the modern stuff, (there's not too much out there though) like Jet and Killers, but when I want something to get me goin, it's Korn, Pantera, Metallica (older mostly), Soil, Slipknot and Godsmack to name a few. Oh, and BLS like Deadly, for sure!

Maiden, Kreator,Primus,Les Claypool,Nile,Karp, Obituary, yes, all or most quite a bit heavier than the usual. I have a lovely, unique abililty to hear songs and voices and I haven't had a stereo in my truck for 3yrs... (Sorry, but I'm a retired Death Metal/Grind-core drummer) Stew

"How far do you think we can go on one engine? All the way to the scene of the crash!" - Ron Tater Salad White
It never fails when I go wheeling I have some music to listen to, Foo Fighters, Linkyn Park, but end up turnig it off in about 5 mins on the trail so I can listen to the CB and focus on my line.

Yeah listening to the things around you is a good thing to do, but some times I have to just crank it up to drowned out the sounds of them darn whining Jeepers that thought they could follow a Yota ;D ;D

to tell you the truth when i do go mudding i do not listen to any music. i like to hear what my truck is doing and hear what people are saying around me so i shut my radio off before i get back into the trails. that is just my opinion hope i am not the only one out there that shuts their music off

nope, you're not alone... i've got an am/fm/cassette stereo with one working speaker and a loud muffler... i keep the radio off while i'm wheelin.... and everywhere else too, for that matter. it's not too fun listening to the radio and only being able to hear it at stoplights ;D
