The tree was just convenient. It provided for a sharper truning radius

Yeah Banshee, that's right. After the last time I rolled it, the cab top was all screwed up, and we had to cut it off and weld on another. Unfortunately, the night we did that, I forgot my camera. The process is fairly simple. Just decide where you need to cut then, with a saws all, or a die grinder with a cut off wheel, make a cut on the outside, being careful to only cut one layer of metal (there are 2 layers in most places in you A and B pillars). Then move to the inside. Make a cut about 6" higher, or lower than the first cut, so that you have a stagered cut. Now, drill out the spot welds that hold the layers together and off she comes. Use the old top for a jig to rough cut the new top, leaving everything a little too big, then use a grinder to make the final fit. Weld the cuts, replace the spot welds, gride it down, smooth it out with a little bondo, and paint. As is painfully obvious by looking at the pictures, I have not had time to finnish all of my body work. She will eventually be red again. When thats finnished, she is going to get a full exo......... for the next time I roll it.

Great pics. I was starting to wonder if that was the same rig. The red coloring seemed to have faded a little ;D LOL ;D Looks like you put a different bumper on the front. I liked the other one better. Good job on the on the cab top mod too.
And always, congrats on the no roll.

No, that's just what is left of the bumper that was on it. The brush guard tubes went away in the last roll A new tube bumper/brush guard is in the works with the exo. They will be integrated. I did a little (well... a lot) of trimming since the last pics. Trimming was easier than fixing. Also, a set of 36" swamper tsl's.
