i just got a chevy AAL from 4wheel parts.. pro comp.. for up front and it is a really long AAL, so it wont be AS rough of a ride- lol, yea right. but anyways, the alignment clips on my stock leaf springs are on there by a pin on the bottom, and it doesn't go through to the top and i don't know how to remove them.. because i highly doubt im suppossed to put the AAL over those clips.. it came with four clips of a different design but should work all the same. and i need to take them apart anr put the AAL on. and im thinking about doing this today or tomorrow so any help before i get stuck half way through this would be greatly appreciated.. and this is just temporary, only 50.00 so what the hell kinda thing.. thanks in advance- BeN- 82 P/U

I had to remove a lot of those when I was building my custom front pack.
I used a cut-off wheel in a 4 1/2" angle grinder to cut the head of the rivet off, then cut/grind it smooth.

thanks, i wasn't sure if i had to cut it off or if i would pound out the shaft with a punch or something.. cause the chevy AAL said that's how you did it on the chevy's... so wasn't sure if it was a common setup...but cool, grind i shall.. thanks- BeN
