A few of the rocker arms on my 85 22r do not line up with the center of the valve stems and are wearing prematurely. One of them is barely touching the edge of the valve stem. There are spacers between the rocker arm and the rocker mounting assembly which position the rocker over the valve.
Has anyone seen this problem and can I replace the spacers with longer ones to better center the rocker over the valve stem?
