If I ever get the time off work to install the 3/4 elliptical springs on the back of my truck I didn’t want the back of the truck to be much higher than the front. I was leaning towards the 3 inch Rubicon spring shackles from Downey. If anyone has used them or has any better ideas I would like to hear them.

Sorry I never responded to your other post about the buggy springs. I've been away and busy.
Where are you thinking about putting these shackles?
If you are thinking about putting them on your front springs, I wouldn't recommend it. any thing you do to your shackle angle in the front will effect the caster of your front axle, and effect the way it steers.
You can play with the length of the leaf springs you use for the buggy springs to get your ride hight the way you want it. You can also install shorter shackles in the rear to keep from lifting it so high.
